Honor and Color Guard

The purpose of the American Legion Honor Guard is to honor the service and sacrifice of honorably discharged veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.
Our dedicated volunteers maintain exceptionally high standards of appearance and conduct in the ceremonial duties for both Honor Guard and Color Guard. The American Legion Honor and Color Guards are available to the public for a variety of events including funerals, parades, flag ceremonies, community civic events, and more.

Our Post considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the families of deceased veterans; therefore, our team members aspire and adhere to the highest standards of American Legion Honor Guard protocols and professionalism.
The rendering of Military Funeral Honors for an eligible veteran, free of charge, is mandated by law. Your funeral director will take care of arranging Military Honors at your request. You can specify our Post 174 if you wish.
